Birth

On Sunday 14th October at 9pm Dawn's water's ruptured, a steady leak, a collection of things are gathered and to the hospital we go. We are sent home shortly after to await contractions, get some rest and an appointment for the following day is arranged. This is the start of our journey towards parenthood. What would happen throughout the following week would be one of the most intense and nerve-wracking journeys we had ever taken. We took it together as a couple, riding out the complications and often intrusive observations together. We also worked together in creating a document of our experiences. Our son joined us on the outside on Thursday 18th October at 4.13pm. Our lives would never be the same again.
